For our next adventure with the “You’re Adventure Starts Here” campaign for Durango Motor Company, we took to one of the many beautiful mountain biking trails surrounding Durango, Colorado. Production began in early Spring, and the trail system accessed via the Horse Gultch Trailhead were the first to offer dry dirt, free from patches of snow and mud.
I working with the Boys & Girls Club of La Plata County throughout 2016 to provide various forms of video marketing to help spread the word about the community’s “Positive Place for Kids.” Megan Hayes, club director, was interested in providing embedded video content in email blasts to the community, and so we are producing one testimonial a month to spread awareness about just how much The Club benefits kids in our community. In addition, we have produced the above fundraising video for one of The Club’s largest fundraisers of the year. Later in the Fall make sure to be on the lookout for the much anticipated 2016 Boys & Girls Club Music Video.
Every year I offer my video services pro bono to a local non-profit organization of my choosing. Video can be used as a powerful tool to spread the word about some of the great organizations in our community, and I’m happy to give back to organizations that help make our community a better place to live. This year’s lucky non-profit was the Durango Arts Center, specifically in regard to their wonderful Creative Minds program, which hosts bi-weekly art programs for adults with developmental disabilities. The program is put together in partnership with another great local non-profit called Community Connections. Justin Osborn a realtor with The Wells Group approached me this spring to produce a real estate video tour of a large property in Shenandoah, a neighborhood South of Durango. The owners were anxious to get the property on the market and sold as soon as possible and were particularly interested in using power of video to expedite the sale.
